What are SH2S?

SH2 Superbinders, aka SH2S, are variants of the Src homology

2 domain that have >100x greater affinity for Tyr phosphorylated proteins

and pTyr peptides than any wild-type SH2 domain

from Precision Proteomics captured essentially all pTyr proteins from the Jurkat T cells

SH2S outperform pTyr antibodies

When used as an affinity reagent for pTyr peptide enrichment, the SH2S Magic beads

Outperformed anti-pTyr antibodies in parallel AP-MS/MS analysis of the Tyr

phosphoproteome.

by AP-MS/MS using either the SH2S Magic beads or anti-pTyr antibody conjugated agarose beads.
